I met this sweet family back in 2009 when little Grant was born. It's hard to believe that (almost) 3 years have passed since this time (photo above). I have enjoyed getting to know them over the past couple of years and love watching their little family grow.
When Cathy told me they were expecting and wanted to do a newborn session again, she mentioned that if they had a girl they were going to name her Claire. Of course, I thought that was the perfect name and was so happy for them when they welcomed her into this world! She was quite the treat...absolutely precious with some good awake time and sleepy time. Big brother Grant was more than willing to love on his little sister in the midst of being all boy. ;) It was an honor, once again, capturing this next stage for their family. You may remember these sweet faces above from the summer of 2010. We started capturing the Brammer family in 2008 when Julia was just a few months old. It has been so much fun watching their sweet family grow.
Well, the boys are ALL boy and have definitely kept their family on their toes. I couldn't help but laugh out of admiration as Ashley tried to get the boys to sit on their green stools. As soon as one would be seated, she would go to the next one, just in time for the first one to be up and moving again. God chooses very special people to parent multiples and I am always in awe of it all.
With that being said, I can't help but love the energy of family sessions. This is life...at these stages, and I love being able to capture it all. When Ashley saw their gallery she couldn't believe they had so many photos they loved. Of course, I didn't take this to be a negative, I just know that they had a full day workout within a matter of 90 minutes...in hopes of getting one good photo. ;) I must say that these expressions and faces change all too fast and it's worth every crazy moment to have these to cherish.
Thanks Brammer family! You know that I'm fond of all of you! Hugs to all!

Back in 2009 I had the opportunity to capture the newness of sweet Delaney. And, back in 2006 (I believe;), we captured Delaney's mommy and daddy's wedding. So, here we are today capturing yet another precious milestone for the Prater family...the coming birth of their newest addition, Ashton.
We are so thankful to have so many of our clients come back to us time and time again. As I post these sessions, it is humbling to not only see how far we've come but to realize that we are able to capture so many precious moments...something we never take for granted.
Well, we had such an unseasonably warm day for their session...we were all sweating by the end-and this took place in March(!!). Anyway, it was such a treat to see how much Delaney has grown and to spend some time with Kevin and Carly. I can't wait to capture their newest addition in just a few, short months. Hugs to you guys!

It is hard for me to believe that Ashlee will be graduating in just a few, short months. I (admittedly) remember when she was born and have been honored to see her grow and mature over the years. She is a wonderful addition to our family and I can't wait to see where God takes her in the coming years.
Ashlee...you are beautiful, inside and out. And, you know that I have always been a fan of your beautiful hair. ;) Dream big-there is so much more in store-you just have to go after it. Love you, girly.

Once again, we are honored to have one of our couples come back to us as they celebrate their first moments as a family. I love being able to capture these precious milestones that they can hold onto for years to come. So, from their wedding in 2009 to today...meet Sophia. :)
Little Sophia was as sweet as could be. She slept, ate a little, slept some more, ate a little more...she made my job incredibly easy. I enjoyed loving on her for a short time. It's hard not to have baby fever when loving on such precious babes. Enjoy these moments, Jeremy and Maggie...they go all too fast. Hugs to you both!
