Seniors, seniors everywhere! I had to name this blog post Courtney R because that is who she is to me. :) Courtney R was another one of my awesome 4th graders back in the day. ;) Her 4th grade year included 3 Courtney's in her class...2 Courtney S's (had to call one of them Court) and Courtney R. It was hard to keep all of their names straight. ;) I'm sure there were some good laughs at my inability to call them by the right name.
I loved her and her family to pieces....still do. They were always so thoughtful and would go out of their way to help me out. It is an honor to capture this time for Courtney R and I am excited to see where her future takes her. I have kept in touch with her over the years and know that her strength and disciplines will taker her far. Always believe in who you are and know that God will bless you far more than you ever dreamed. Love and hugs to you...

I have loved capturing this sweet boy since he was a newborn. I can't believe he is already 2 years old! Parker is so sweet and absolutely adorable. He was full of smiles the day of their session and didn't mind exploring the area at all. ;) Mike and Melissa...always, always a pleasure to see you guys! Hope to see the 3 of you again soon. Hugs to you all!
Love this...you can always depend on your daddy! You'll always be a champ in his eyes!

First of all, this is a hard blog post for me to write. The biggest reason is because I can't believe where the past 8 years have gone. It kills me when I hit milestones such as this. I met Courtney when I was teaching 4th grade a number of years back. I remember her first day...new school, new friends...a shy, scared little girl. However, we instantly connected and it wasn't long before she came out of her shell (and, I had a hard time keeping her quiet ;). She has a very special place in my heart and I am so thankful she was placed in my room 8 years ago. Over the years, we have grown close to her family and consider them all to be a part of our own.
The other reason I was dreading this post was because the reality has hit me. She's graduating. While I was excited to document this time for her, I'm sad that this season in life is over. She is a beautiful girl...inside and out. I know her dreams and am excited to see where they take her. I'm proud of you, Court, and am so thankful to have you in my life. Love you...

Amy and PJ's wedding was the perfect way to end our 2011 wedding season. They had a beautiful day and managed to be on top of their game (aka. schedule) from beginning to end. We had a small battle with the (crazy) wind, but looking at their pictures you would never know. We even had the opportunity to join Amy and PJ on the balcony of the Conrad for a handful of amazing sunset/skyline photos.
But, even more than all of that, were the people involved in their day...from their parents, to their wedding party, to their guests. When you get to know your clients, you not only document their day, but you are also entangled in the incredible moments that take place. The special gift that was given to Amy from PJ, the beauty that is Amy, the miracle of Amy's dad walking her down the aisle, to Amy and PJ's first glimpse when they finally got to see each other. I could go on and on. We see these kind of moments with every wedding we document...and, it is such an unbelievable honor.
Thank you for choosing us to capture your day. You guys are awesome in so many ways. Much love and hugs to you both...
The wind tried to dominate, but we won! ;)
I know the next few images will be cherished for years to come.
MARRIED!!!!
I love how perfect Amy and PJ are for one another. You can see how much they adore each other just by looking through these photos...
We got to work with the Endless Summer Band so much this season...at least 4 weddings and two of them were back to back. I'm pretty sure that's a record for us. We love them to pieces! We've had some good laughs during our meals this year...to say the least. They are also incredible musicians and know how to get the party going...love these photos below.

Jeremy and I have known the Bradley family for a good number of years now. They have a very special place in our hearts...and, always will. We are finding that this stage in life brings busy schedules for everyone...kids (and a business ;) will do that to you. Even though we don't get to see them as much as we'd like, I know that we will always pick up right where we left off. That's the greatest kinds of friends to have. Much love to all of you! Can't wait to see you again!
