Lauren and Joel share the kind of love that can be seen miles away. On top of that, they are so much fun to be around. I met Lauren through our church, Northview, and got to know her even better last year during my trip to South Africa. I just love her to pieces and am so excited she found her man, and that her man found her. They are perfect for each other.
Their beautiful, little beach wedding will be hitting the blog next, so I thought I better get their engagement photos up first. ;) We hit a jackpot of color at the end of their session. Lauren was hoping for some color (that was long gone, really, by this point in the season), and amazingly enough we found the perfect kind in the most random place. Random is good...especially when it brings what you will see below.
Stay tuned...more beautiful images of them to come.

Obviously, I am super behind on my blogging. Brenna and Craig's session happened back in October and here it is January...sigh. ;) Hopefully, these sessions will allow your mind to go back to those warmer days and remember that spring will be here before we know it.
As for Brenna and Craig, they made my job super easy...and they are sweet as can be!! Brenna had a lot of ideas she wanted to incorporate into her session (thanks to Pinterest ;) and we accomplished all of them. They also included their sweet pups and had a great time just being together. We are looking forward to celebrating with them this summer. I'm sure the details will be out of this world. :)

I met Kiely several years back at her brother's wedding (I still remember how much I loved her hair :), but have known her family for quite some time...love them! It is such an honor that we get to be a part of their day. They are just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. And, the love they have for one another is overflowing in these photos. We are so fortunate to not only love what we do, but to be able to capture moments such as these...
Can't wait to celebrate you both later this summer. Much love and hugs...

If Katy and Jake's engagement session is any indication of what we might see on their wedding day then wow...wow...wow. They are adorable, full of style, cute (even with their jumping/lifting each other high in the air abilities ;), love to laugh...I could go on and on-and that is just with their outward appearances. :) They are just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. I have been looking forward to sharing these photos for quite some time and am really excited that we get to be a part of their day.
We shot Katy's sister's wedding a few years back and we couldn't help but fall in love with their family back then. Kristen, her sister, sent me a text immediately after Katy and Jake's proposal to let me know they were engaged and would be contacting me soon to discuss date options. Love it! :) So, we're not only excited to capture them, but to celebrate them with their family and friends. Can't wait! Much love to you guys!

This fall truly was amazing. There were some bumps along the way with weather, but for the most part it was perfect. You will soon see how pretty it was when I get this little blog caught up with all of the engagements and family sessions that took place. ;)
Well, I had a wonderful evening with Jamie and Josh for their engagement session. They are absolutely adorable and completely made for each other. We laughed, we talked and we attempted things that failed, but overall, I could shoot them time and time again (or meet up for lunch/dinner-whatever works ;). I was even sent home with some (very) yummy cookies (that I possibly may have eaten by myself-ha!). I am so excited that we get to be a part of their day next year...it will be a stunning day, for sure! Big hugs to the two of you! xo!
