This sweet family was one of the winner's from our Giving is Awesome special we had last year at Christmas time. Boston is such a precious boy...I could love on him all day. He has been through a lot in his short little life, but you would never know it looking at these pictures...he was full of smiles. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to capture your precious family! Blessings to the 3 of you... ;)

As if you weren't already in love with this family...here's another peek at what our evening was like with the Hopkins Family for their heirloom session. There were so many sweet moments shared...moments that I will always remember. I couldn't help but think of the lyrics to Steve Green's song, Household of Faith, that represents these precious grandparents and the family they have built on faith.
Here we are at the start committing to each other
By His word and from our hearts
We will be a family in a house that will be a home
And with faith we'll build it strong
We'll build a household of faith
That together we can make
And when the strong winds blow it won't fall down
As one in Him we'll grow and the whole world will know
We are a household of faith
Now to be a family we've got to love each other
At any cost unselfishly
And our home must be a place that fully abounds with grace
A reflection of His face
-Steve Green, Household of Faith
Thanks again to the Hopkins Family for giving John and I the opportunity to capture a glimpse of what it means to have a household of faith built on love.

I love family sessions...especially ones that hold a special place in our hearts. We have gotten to know this family over the years from meeting at church to documenting weddings to family photos to getting together...you name it. It was wonderful seeing all of them together again. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon!
Once we finished the session with everyone we grabbed a few more of Drew, Joy and the kids. You know we love you guys! Can't wait for our next Sunday lunch date. ;)

Sessions such as these remind me that it doesn't matter how old your kids are...photos documenting a time in a families life is of vast importance. As you can see, these boys are a bit older than what normally passes through our blog. However, they are all at ages where mom wanted to capture them right here, right now. So, glad they did...

You may remember the Giving is Awesome special we did last Christmas. Well, these three special families are starting to fulfill their sessions. It has been a true honor meeting each and every single one of them. I had so much fun with the Youngstedt family. The kiddos had such vibrant personalities and the love they share is quite obvious in these photos. Enjoy...
