Thank you for stopping by!
Lifestyle, our passion...that is how we describe what we do.  It's the day to day, remember when, wish I could have been there type of moments.  It's real life captured forever...not only in a photograph, but in your hearts, your minds, your souls.  We truly are thankful for this role God has blessed us with.  We look forward to sharing these moments, along with our journey, in this crazy place called life.

Please use the tabs above to help navigate your way through the blog.  Current clients can find their images under the websites tab.  Over time, I will be sharing moments that inspire us to do what we do.  Feel free to grab some coffee and stay awhile...

This being the month of November, I can't help but stop and think of the many blessings we experience throughout one single year.  I am so thankful for our business and where it continues to take us, and am equally thankful for the many people that come into our lives.  Every time I get to capture our former wedding clients entry into parenthood, I am reminded once again how blessed we are.  Having the opportunity to be a part of the important moments in life is so rewarding and honoring.

Back in early September, we were in Chicago for Paul and Kristin's wedding.  We shot Mark and Becky's wedding 2 summers ago and loved that they contacted us to capture their newest addition, Emma.  She is an absolute doll...so beautiful!  And, she sported dad's alma mater well. ;)  I love seeing how natural the parent instinct kicks when with your first child...they've got it down. :)

Thanks for letting us come and capture this sweet time for you.  Hope to see the 3 of you again soon!  Much love and hugs!

Addison was such a sweet and beautiful baby to photograph.  She made my job super easy.  I've known her mommy for a few years now and am so excited that they now have such a sweet addition to snuggle.  I love capturing the newness of families...these moments are meant to be treasured forever.  Hugs to you...

Another sweet newborn.  This little guy snoozed through his entire session.  He didn't even need to stop to eat...not very common with little ones. :)  Glad his mommy and daddy found out about us, so that I could capture this time for them.  He is loved so very much...  It was an honor capturing this time for you.  Hugs your way...

I got the phone call at 8am on a Monday morning.  I had been waiting for her call, but wasn't expecting it to be happening quite yet.  She went into labor late Sunday night (which was my prediction ;) and got to the hospital around 3am.  After a number of hours of hard labor, she was finally able to relax a bit (thanks to the epidural)...which was when I received the call.  She told me she was at 7cm and I couldn't believe it.  She sounded too comfortable to be in labor. ;)  I was so excited that the day had come for the two of them to meet their little man.  I had a 30min drive ahead of me, so I put myself together and arrived at the hospital around 10am...hoping that little Harry wasn't quite ready to meet the world yet.

When I got there, she was at 8cm and continued to be there for several hours.  So, we waited and we waited.  Then, came 9.5cm and again, we waited.  And, waited.  Because of Shelly have a VBAC they couldn't progress her body medically.  She had to let her body do the work.  After a day of waiting the time had come.  At 5:09 pm, Harrison James was born.  It was such a sweet day.  There was nothing else on the agenda other than welcoming a precious gift into this world.  And, even though he didn't come as soon as we had anticipated, I loved being able to share this time with my best friend and Brian...talking, laughing, resting, watching movies--the things that don't happen on a daily basis. ;)  Love you guys!  So happy he's here...

I get to photograph some pretty cute babies...no doubt.  There are even times when I get the sleepiest of babes that allow me to move them all over.  Little Jack was that baby for me.  I think he woke up long enough to eat and that was it.  While he was busy filling his belly, I captured some sweet moments of his big sister and Daddy having tea.  Love this session!

I am so excited that I get to capture this sweet family again and again in the coming year.  They couldn't be sweeter.  It didn't take long for me to fall in love.  Looking forward to the next time...  Hugs to the four of you!!!
