Thank you for stopping by!
Lifestyle, our passion...that is how we describe what we do.  It's the day to day, remember when, wish I could have been there type of moments.  It's real life captured forever...not only in a photograph, but in your hearts, your minds, your souls.  We truly are thankful for this role God has blessed us with.  We look forward to sharing these moments, along with our journey, in this crazy place called life.

Please use the tabs above to help navigate your way through the blog.  Current clients can find their images under the websites tab.  Over time, I will be sharing moments that inspire us to do what we do.  Feel free to grab some coffee and stay awhile...

It is hard for me to believe that this senior will be graduating soon.  I remember the day his mom and dad found out they were expecting him.  I remember going to the hospital to await his arrival.  I remember when he couldn't pronounce my name so he started calling me Aunt Meme-the name stuck and the whole family started calling me that. ;)  I remember having him and his older sister ride in my car (without carseats ;) time and time again.  I remember when he asked me what it meant for Jesus to live in his heart and that he wanted that.  I remember baby-sitting him and his sister every summer for several years.  I remember when he was the ring bearer for our wedding.  As you can see, I could go on and on.  I am a proud aunt to all of our nieces and nephews...in case you couldn't tell. :)

Well, here we are to the present day and I am honored to see the man this little boy has become.  He is God-fearing and has been a true role model among his peers.  He is also quite the athlete and musician.  Curtis will be going to Kentucky Christian University in the fall to play football.  I look forward to seeing where God takes him in this journey of life.  Keep dreaming and believing, Curtis...proud of you.

I met this sweet girl years ago when she was just in elementary school.  She was quiet, shy and getting a smile out of her would be your day's accomplishment. ;)  However, through the years we have seen her personality shine through in the most beautiful way.  It was such a treat to be able to capture this time for her.  We shared many laughs that enabled me to capture her sweet spirit.  As much as I don't enjoy getting old, I do find joy in seeing the younger generations grow and mature into who God is creating them to be.  Steph...you're beautiful inside and out.  We look forward to seeing where this next chapter takes you!  Many hugs!!

CourtRBlog 001.jpg
Seniors, seniors everywhere! I had to name this blog post Courtney R because that is who she is to me. :) Courtney R was another one of my awesome 4th graders back in the day. ;)  Her 4th grade year included 3 Courtney's in her class...2 Courtney S's (had to call one of them Court) and Courtney R.  It was hard to keep all of their names straight. ;)  I'm sure there were some good laughs at my inability to call them by the right name.

I loved her and her family to pieces....still do.  They were always so thoughtful and would go out of their way to help me out.  It is an honor to capture this time for Courtney R and I am excited to see where her future takes her.  I have kept in touch with her over the years and know that her strength and disciplines will taker her far.  Always believe in who you are and know that God will bless you far more than you ever dreamed.  Love and hugs to you...

First of all, this is a hard blog post for me to write.  The biggest reason is because I can't believe where the past 8 years have gone.  It kills me when I hit milestones such as this.  I met Courtney when I was teaching 4th grade a number of years back.  I remember her first day...new school, new friends...a shy, scared little girl.  However, we instantly connected and it wasn't long before she came out of her shell (and, I had a hard time keeping her quiet ;).  She has a very special place in my heart and I am so thankful she was placed in my room 8 years ago.  Over the years, we have grown close to her family and consider them all to be a part of our own.

The other reason I was dreading this post was because the reality has hit me.  She's graduating.  While I was excited to document this time for her, I'm sad that this season in life is over.  She is a beautiful girl...inside and out.  I know her dreams and am excited to see where they take her.  I'm proud of you, Court, and am so thankful to have you in my life.  Love you...

I had such a great time getting to know Alec for his senior session.  He was so easy going and even laughed at my (not-so-funny) jokes.  I also loved the fact that he is already working on his plan for after high school.  It's such a tough decision and I love hearing their game plan.  Thanks for traveling all the way from Illinois for your senior session.  It was an honor getting to know you!  Best of luck as you pursue your dreams!
