Thank you for stopping by!
Lifestyle, our passion...that is how we describe what we do.  It's the day to day, remember when, wish I could have been there type of moments.  It's real life captured forever...not only in a photograph, but in your hearts, your minds, your souls.  We truly are thankful for this role God has blessed us with.  We look forward to sharing these moments, along with our journey, in this crazy place called life.

Please use the tabs above to help navigate your way through the blog.  Current clients can find their images under the websites tab.  Over time, I will be sharing moments that inspire us to do what we do.  Feel free to grab some coffee and stay awhile...

I'm always amazed at how the walk of life throws in some unexpected, yet special, moments.  Most of you know that I taught 4th grade prior to running our photography business full time.  While I loved working with the kids, I knew my passion fell elsewhere.  If you would have told me (9 years ago) that I would get to photograph some of my former 4th grade students I would have thought 2 things: 1. they are too young to think of as seniors and 2. it's a nice thought, but they may not think of their 4th grade teacher being the one to document their senior year.  Well, I have been pleasantly surprised to see some of my former 4th grade students and cross country athletes come back to me for their senior photos.  Reminiscing over those memories have taken me back to a special place in my heart where the impact I had on those young lives was something that I didn't take lightly.  I have been humbled and honored to have these moments with them once again.

So, meet Evan...he was one that I got to know really well the first year of teaching 4th grade.  His intellect was above my own at times (ha!) and we had many moments discussing his future occupations that went to either being an astronaut or the future President of the USA.  Well, he has let go of his dreams of being an astronaut, but has leadership skills that will take him far.  Who knows...we may see him again someday.
;)

Evan...you know how proud I am of you and am so excited to see where your dreams take you.  I loved having you in class and cherish the moments that have been made with your family over the years from MRE to Chad & Becky's wedding to cross country to your senior year.  Hugs to all of you...

Jordyn...a soon-to-be graduate.  She is full of life and excited to see what is in store for her in the coming years.  I love hearing the hopes, dreams and goals for those graduating from high school.  They have the whole world at their fingertips and are anxious to get the process going.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to capture this 'once in a lifetime' moment for you.  Looking forward to seeing where this journey takes you!  Hugs to you...

Another fun senior session filled with a lot of personality.  Jeribeth was so much fun to photograph.  She truly had her senior session planned out to make the most of it.  I loved it!  We met Jeribeth's family at Jeremy's parents' church years ago.  It is hard to believe she will soon be graduating from high school.  I look forward to seeing where this journey of life takes her.  Hugs to you...

I had so much fun with Kaitlin during her senior session.  She has such a sweet demeanor and is a true joy to be around.  I must say that I love getting to know our seniors.  They have such a zest for life and are anxious to see what this crazy world holds for them.  I love hearing about their dreams, goals and who they want to become.

Thanks for sharing this time with me, Kaitlin!  I look forward to hearing about this next chapter.  Hugs to you!

Oh, where does the time go?  Cameron, the senior you see below, was an athlete of mine during my coaching days.  I coached him for 3 years and I saw a young athlete with so much potential develop into an experienced runner.  And, here he is, 4 years later, pursuing his dream.  I knew he would continue to excel with his running and it makes me proud to see how well he has done (he was even a finalist in the national high school meet last spring).  He has a bright future ahead of him between college and running and I can't wait to hear all about it.  He already knows how proud I am of him.  It is quite an honor to say that I was his coach for some time...congrats Cameron!  Many hugs to you!
