I love the story of how we booked Rob and Kati's wedding. A few years back we shot Katie and Mike's wedding and Kati was a bridesmaid. We carried on several conversations that day and even emailed a couple of time following the wedding. I didn't think too much about it until I got an email from Kati telling me that she just got engaged and they knew then and there that they wanted us to photograph their wedding. I guess you could say the rest is history and here we are, several years after meeting, celebrating their day. I love hearing the stories of how couples find us...makes this big, crazy world a bit smaller.
All I can say is that we love Rob and Kati, their families, their wedding party...everything. They welcomed us with open arms and took such great care of us. We have many memories from their wedding weekend that we will always remember...the downpour 30 minutes before the ceremony, Kati realizing she was "kind of a big deal"--you had to be there for that one-;)-and, yes, she was beautiful--you'll see, the people, the food, the location, the generosity...everything. Thank you for including us and making us feel so very welcome on a day that was about celebrating the two of you. It was an honor... Much love and hugs...
Did I mention how much we loved the people? Well, we did. Their wedding party was the best!
Yes, this happened 30 minutes before the ceremony started. Thankfully, it didn't ruin their plans. ;)

Since we were unable to do an engagement session with Rob and Kati before their wedding, they decided to do a session the day after with their sailboat. As you can tell, they spend a lot of time on the water. This was perfect for them and I love how they turned out. We only had about an hour to get the boat in the water, take the pics and get out before the rain started up again. It was a perfect weekend for them...

We have been blessed to be a part of some beautiful weddings over the years, and even more so, beautiful couples. It has been such an honor to celebrate with those who have chosen us to be their photographers. We don't take our positions lightly and are so thankful to be doing something that we love.
Tim and Heather had a beautiful fall day for their wedding. Everything fell into place just as it needed to and every individual there stood in awe of the beauty that was Tim and Heather. They lit up every room they walked into and the emotions shared were full of joy and love for these two. As always, thank you for choosing us to capture your day! Hugs to you both...
Tim and Heather built a lot of time into their day for pictures of the two of them. Because of their work schedules and living in Michigan, they were unable to have an engagement session. They wanted to be sure they made up for it on their wedding day. I think we covered it...I had such a hard time narrowing them down. ;)
They focused their wedding colors and details around their alma mater...in case you couldn't tell. ;)

The weather on the day of Ryan and Sarah's wedding was not exactly what they had planned for (although, I love the mood it presented for their pictures ;). However, every other detail they prepared was put together perfectly. From the signs Sarah wanted to use for their pictures, to the details incorporated into their reception, to the arrangement of the events of the day...everything. Sarah's family (and friends) spend a lot of time at her parents' lake house and they wanted to celebrate, not only their love for each other, but all of the memories that have been made at this beautiful location. I think all of their efforts paid off perfectly. Their day truly was amazing.
As for Ryan and Sarah, they compliment each other in every way. It was rather obvious how much they love and car for one another. The same holds true for the love they have for their family and friends. Congrats you two!
